In-Person Services at Guam Fast Divorce

At Guam Fast Divorce, we provide efficient and convenient uncontested divorce services, with most cases handled entirely online. However, we also offer in-person services when needed. Below is an overview of how we manage the process, including for our off-island clients.

1. Notarized Signatures

All divorces require notarized signatures from both spouses. For off-island and Guam-based clients, here are the options:

  • Off-Island Clients: Only one spouse is required to travel to Guam, but the other spouse must provide consent to the divorce through a signed and notarized document. The spouse that is not coming to Guam, may use any active US notary and send the signed papers to us by mail, or courier, or hand delivery by the spouse coming to Guam.
  • The spouse traveling to Guam can visit our office to sign their papers and have them notarized. No in-person meeting with the attorney is required, although our attorney often greets clients in the reception area as a courtesy.
  • Hotel Notary Service: If requested, we can send a notary to the client’s hotel to obtain the required signatures.
  • Guam Residents: Local clients can come to our office to sign and notarize documents, or they can use any other notary on Guam.
  • Special Cases: If a client is unable to leave their home, we can arrange for a notary to visit them.

2. Submission of Signed, Notarized Documents

Once documents are notarized, they need to be delivered to our office, if they were not signed in our office. This can be done in several ways:

  • Options for Submission:
    • Personal delivery to our office
    • Mailing or using a courier service
  • Courtesy Pick-Up Service: If clients are unable to deliver the documents, we offer a courtesy pick-up service from a location in Guam.

3. Court Hearing Representation

A court hearing is required for the judge to approve the divorce. One of our experienced attorneys will attend the hearing on your behalf.

  • Client Attendance: Clients are welcome to attend the hearing, though it is rarely necessary.

4. Delivery of Final Divorce Decree

The final signed divorce decree will be delivered to the client. We offer several delivery options to meet your needs:

  • Delivery Options:
    • If you are in Guam, you can pick them up at our office.
    • Sent by mail or courier
    • Courtesy in-person delivery to a location in Guam, if you cannot get out.

At Guam Fast Divorce, we prioritize making the divorce process as simple and convenient as possible, whether everything is done remotely or through in-person assistance.
